What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using modern software engineering best practices.
Translate complex system requirements into functional software solutions in a safety-critical environment.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following CI/CD and DevSecOps protocols.
Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.
Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of real-time systems.
Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ on a Linux-based system.
Experience or exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems, automation, or intelligent platforms.
Understanding of APIs and distributed system concepts.
U.S. citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, SAFe, Kafka, cloud platforms, and containerization (preferred).
