What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain software for real-time, high-availability, safety-critical systems.
Translate complex system requirements into efficient and maintainable software designs.
Lead and mentor junior developers while influencing technical direction and development processes.
Develop, tune, document, and deploy automation scripts across development, test, and production environments.
Support system integration activities involving hardware and low-level communications interfaces.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, release planning, and sprint reviews.
Apply software engineering principles to ensure code is reliable, fault-tolerant, and reusable.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8-12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Strong object-oriented programming experience with proficiency in C and/or C++.
Experience developing real-time, multi-threaded, high-availability systems in Linux environments.
Experience with low-level communications protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP) and hardware or complex system integration.
Familiarity with system maintenance, lifecycle concepts, source control, and configuration management tools.
Experience with Ada, test automation frameworks, or AI-assisted development workflows (preferred).
