What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using modern software engineering best practices.
Translate complex system requirements into functional software solutions within an Agile/SAFe environment.
Write clean, testable code integrated with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs in a distributed architecture.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and automated test creation.
Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for safety-critical systems.
Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests.
Analyze existing software interfaces and data flows to implement new capabilities in complex systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ on Linux systems.
Hands-on experience building and supporting microservices-based systems and distributed system concepts.
Ability to leverage AI-assisted engineering tools for code analysis, development acceleration, and quality improvement.
Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust investigation.
