What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using modern software engineering best practices.
Lead Agile sprint planning to ensure alignment of team priorities and successful execution of project objectives.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members while removing roadblocks and sharing best practices.
Translate complex systems engineering requirements into functional software solutions for air traffic management.
Develop clean, testable code integrated with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.
Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs for real-time, safety-critical systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language like Java, Python, or C++ on Linux-based systems.
Experience or exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems, automation, or intelligent platforms (preferred).
Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of APIs and distributed system concepts.
U.S. citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.
Familiarity with SAFe, Git, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, and DevSecOps (preferred).
