What you'll do

Write, test, debug, and maintain source code within an Agile/SAFe environment.
Develop and implement containerized applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and test creation.
Design and implement software solutions to resolve complex issues impacting multiple disciplines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both lab and operational environments.
Build and maintain web applications using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Support system engineering, test engineering, and system owner teams as needed.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8-12 years of experience, or a Master’s with 6-10 years.
Expert knowledge of Java with substantial hands-on programming experience.
Extensive experience with Web development using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Extensive experience with unit testing tools such as Junit and Mockito.
Significant experience with RESTful API, JSON, XML, XSD, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Boot, and Linux.
Significant experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
Experience working within the Agile Scrum framework and understanding of sound software development principles.
US citizenship required and ability to obtain a favorable SF-85 Public Trust (Tier 2) suitability determination.
