What you'll do

Write, test, debug, and maintain source code within an Agile/SAFe environment.
Develop containerized applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and test creation.
Build web-based front-end components using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Design and implement RESTful APIs using JSON and XML formats.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both lab and operational environments.
Develop solutions for complex problems impacting multiple systems and disciplines.
Support system engineering, test engineering, and DevSecOps teams to deliver mission-critical software.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8-12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
Expert knowledge of Java with substantial hands-on programming experience.
Extensive experience with web development and front-end tools including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Significant experience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs (JSON, XML, XSD).
Significant experience with Linux systems, version control systems like Git or Subversion, and unit testing tools like Junit and Mockito.
Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable SF-85 Public Trust (Tier 2) suitability determination.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience working within the Agile Scrum framework and understanding of sound software development principles.
