Candidates should possess a degree in engineering or an engineering technology degree with a Professional Engineering license. Mechanical engineers and those experienced in overseeing multi-discipline projects are preferred for this position.

What you'll do

Manage and execute Engineering Work Plans for multi-disciplinary generation projects across the full project lifecycle.
Lead the Engineering Design Review process and respond to technical Requests for Information (RFIs).
Coordinate design activities between internal engineering teams, external consultants, OEMs, and EPC contractors.
Provide technical leadership and oversight during construction and commissioning phases of power generation assets.
Facilitate project closeout activities to ensure timely completion of new-build and retrofit initiatives.
Prepare and present regular progress reports on complex technical subjects to project stakeholders.
Resolve complex engineering problems by analyzing conflicting data and identifying corrective actions.
Ensure all work activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and external agency procedures.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required, or a Master's/PhD with 2+ years of experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology may satisfy the education requirement if accompanied by a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
Candidates must have at least two years of related engineering experience for the entry level.
Senior roles require 4 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's, or 2 years with a Master's/PhD.
Principal roles require experience with a Bachelor's, or with a Master's/PhD.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is preferred.
Mechanical engineering degrees or technical certifications are preferred.
Experience overseeing multi-discipline engineering work is preferred.
