JOB TITLE: Program Manager 1 The Program Manager 1 joins the Fuzing and Warhead business within the Missile Products Business Unit to support various programs. Reporting to the programs portfolio Market Area Manager, this individual leads cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to deliver contractual requirements on cost, schedule, and technical performance. Daily responsibilities include managing the full program life cycle from proposal development through contract closeout, tracking performance metrics, and managing budget baselines using Earned Value Management. What you'll do

Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.
Manage the full program life cycle from proposal development and startup through execution and contract closeout.
Monitor and report critical program performance metrics using Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar tools.
Develop new business opportunities through long-term strategic planning, capture planning, and proposal development.
Negotiate contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, and schedule milestones.
Manage program resources, including workforce planning, budget baselines, and government-supplied property.
Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities through thorough risk management practices.
Maintain customer relationships to develop new opportunities and deliver presentations to executive management.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
Must have 5 years of experience leading tasks on schedule and at cost as a project lead, IPT lead, or cost account manager.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Must have basic competency in project management skills and toolsets.
Must be competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
A degree in a science, engineering, or business program (preferred).
Experience in aerospace/defense, DoD, or NASA, and PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies (preferred).
