Product Thermal Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Use power measurement equipment to collect measurements for system use cases on test platforms.
• Plan and execute test cases for power and debug software-related issues on Qualcomm chipsets.
• Perform functional and feature tests for power and thermal software.
• Execute power and thermal characterization and optimization tests.
• Provide test results and characterization data to cross-functional teams.
• Manage test automation infrastructure, test strategy, and test plan development.
• Manage and prioritize multiple test projects simultaneously.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience (preferred).
• Understanding of SW product life cycle and experience with SW test methodologies (preferred).
• Systems/HW background with understanding of microprocessor architecture and common SoC hardware blocks (preferred).
• Experience in any operating systems platform testing, such as Google Android or Windows (preferred).
• Development skills in Python and C/C++ (preferred).
• Experience using debug tools like JTAG debugger, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers (preferred).
• Experience with Ubuntu/Linux server OS and related tools (preferred).
