Product Owner, Workforce Planning (People Technology) joins the People Technology team to co-own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the organization's workforce planning capability. The position requires expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday HCM data structures, and agile methodologies to solve complex workforce planning problems by providing visibility into headcount plans, organizational dimensions, and long-range talent strategy for the business.

What you'll do

  • Co-own the vision, multi-year roadmap, and prioritized backlog for the strategic workforce planning product.
  • Translate People Organization and Finance requirements into technical specifications for the Adaptive Planning platform.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Workday HCM and Adaptive Planning to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Configure and manage security permissions, roles, and access levels for sensitive workforce data.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide visibility into workforce plans and variances.
  • Manage the design and construction of Adaptive Planning models including sheets, dimensions, and assumptions.
  • Execute testing, deployment, and governance for all system updates and integration changes.
  • Lead stakeholder training and enablement to drive organizational adoption of workforce planning tools.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR or Finance technology with exposure to workforce planning, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Workday HCM.
  • Demonstrated expertise building and maintaining Workday Adaptive Planning integrations, models, and security/permissions configurations.
  • Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards using Adaptive Discovery Boards, OfficeConnect, and/or Workday reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCM data structures including positions, organizations, and worker/job data.
  • Understanding of workforce planning concepts such as headcount/budget planning, org design, and talent supply/demand analysis.
  • Experience owning a product backlog, writing user stories, and prioritizing features in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in translating technical concepts for business stakeholders and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience maturing a workforce planning function (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Extend (preferred).
  • Familiarity with skills taxonomies or predictive workforce modeling (preferred).
