Product Owner

What you'll do

• Maintain the Salesforce product roadmap by prioritizing features and tools based on business value.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and Salesforce developers.
• Elicit and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
• Translate complex business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Lead enterprise backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide schedule inputs, risk alerts, and status reporting to program management.
• Resolve complex helpdesk cases for assigned product and program areas.
• Ensure the accuracy of technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and system design documents.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience supporting APIs, system integrations, and/or data exchange.
• In-depth experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage work for 7+ projects simultaneously.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to communicate complex technical topics to various stakeholders.
• Experience working with CMS or similar federal agencies, preferably within the Department of Health and Human Services.
• General understanding of CMS Section 508 compliance requirements.
• Must have resided in the U.S. for at least 3 out of the last 5 years and be able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance.
