As the Principal Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Program Manager, you will serve as the global owner and technical program lead for the enterprise transportation management system. You will manage the full system lifecycle, including requirements architecture, vendor selection, implementation, integration, and long-term sustainment to deliver scalable, automated capabilities across the global supply chain. Your daily work involves partnering with Logistics, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Trade Compliance teams to modernize the logistics technology ecosystem. You will drive automation and AI-enabled capabilities such as predictive ETAs and exception management while ensuring data integrity for trade compliance. Key technical competencies include experience with ERP and WMS integrations, data analytics platforms like Power BI, and SQL-based datasets. This role solves complex transportation planning and execution challenges by standardizing processes across various modes and business units.

What you'll do

  • Define the global TMS strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise supply chain objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end vendor selection including requirement development, RFP execution, and technical evaluation.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of global TMS implementation, deployment, and regional rollout across all transportation modes.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to manage system design, integrations with ERP/WMS platforms, and data architecture.
  • Translate complex logistics requirements into functional and technical specifications for system development.
  • Identify and scale automation and AI-enabled capabilities for predictive analytics and exception management.
  • Establish governance models, KPIs, and dashboards to track system performance and business outcomes.
  • Lead change management initiatives including stakeholder alignment, training strategy, and global user adoption.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications such as PMP, APICS, or Six Sigma (preferred).
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or enterprise systems within a global, high-tech, or manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale system implementations and vendor selection (TMS strongly preferred) (preferred).
  • Strong technical program management skills for managing complex, cross-functional initiatives (preferred).
  • Understanding of transportation operations, carrier management, freight settlement, and logistics data flows (preferred).
  • Experience with system integrations, data analytics platforms, and reporting tools like Power BI or SQL (preferred).
  • Exposure to automation, optimization, or AI/ML applications within supply chain or logistics environments (preferred).
