Principal TA Systems Architect

What you'll do

• Serve as the top-tier administrator for Greenhouse, GoodTime, and BrightHire, managing configurations, permissions, and workflows.
• Own the integration layer between TA systems and the broader People stack using APIs and middleware.
• Triage and resolve system issues by performing root-cause analysis and closing the loop with reporters.
• Manage the TA systems roadmap by identifying process gaps and translating them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate new recruiting tools and AI technologies through rigorous pilot designs and security reviews.
• Manage vendor relationships, including handling escalations, renewals, and holding partners accountable to service levels.
• Write scripts and queries to automate data cleanup, bulk updates, and custom reporting.
• Document the technical architecture, configuration decisions, and runbooks for the entire TA tech stack.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in HR or TA systems, People Systems, or a closely adjacent systems role.
• Hands-on experience with ownership of an ATS at scale.
• Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Deep administrative expertise in at least one core recruiting platform.
• Technical fluency with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
• Experience with iPaaS or middleware tooling such as Workato, Tray, Merge, or Zapier.
• Experience integrating an ATS with an HRIS like Workday or UKG.
• Proven vendor management experience including renewals and escalations.
• Direct administrative experience with GoodTime and BrightHire (preferred).
• Experience standing up, migrating, or consolidating an ATS (preferred).
• Prior people management or experience mentoring and leading a systems function (preferred).
• Experience evaluating and deploying AI tooling inside a live recruiting workflow (preferred).
• Familiarity with high-volume and field-based hiring models (preferred).
