What you'll do

Perform authorized security assessments of embedded, IoT, and hardware-based products.
Reverse engineer firmware, binaries, bootloaders, protocols, and device interfaces.
Analyze hardware using tools like UART, JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Identify attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, and insecure design patterns in extracted firmware.
Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations and provide practical remediation guidance for security flaws.
Build scripts and tooling to automate firmware analysis and repeatable security checks.
Produce technical reports detailing reproduction steps, severity, impact, and mitigation recommendations.
Collaborate with silicon vendors on reference code, firmware updates, and enablement.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the field.
Experience is required in embedded security, hardware hacking, firmware analysis, reverse engineering, penetration testing, or vulnerability research.
Proficiency in C programming and kernel-level debugging is required.
Several years of hands-on Unix/Linux kernel development experience are preferred.
Knowledge of security technologies including TPM, Secure Boot, kernel signing, and encryption frameworks is required.
Working knowledge of hardware interfaces and protocols such as UART, JTAG, SPI, I2C, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, or proprietary RF is required.
In-depth knowledge of ARM, Intel, and AMD platforms and chipsets is required.
