As a Principal Systems Software Engineer, you will join the team to bring up and harden Oracle Linux on ARM, Intel, and AMD-based platforms. What you'll do

Bring up and harden Oracle Linux on ARM, Intel, and AMD-based embedded platforms.
Develop secure, production-ready images and OS/firmware update solutions for robotic deployments.
Contribute to and extend open-source software including the Linux kernel, uboot, and ATF.
Perform cross-layer debugging and resolve complex issues across software, firmware, and hardware layers.
Design and implement software features while ensuring high performance through profiling and optimization.
Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers to improve development standards.
Implement comprehensive testing, monitoring, and observability for system reliability and availability.
Manage API functionality, versioning, and interoperability strategies across various platforms.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the field.
Experience in operating systems development is required.
Proficiency in C programming and kernel-level debugging is required.
Several years of hands-on Unix/Linux kernel development experience are preferred.
Knowledge of security technologies including TPM, Secure Boot, kernel signing, and encryption frameworks is required.
In-depth knowledge of ARM, Intel, and AMD platforms and chipsets is required.
Familiarity with Python and Bash scripting for development and automation tasks is required.
