The Principal Project Mgmt role is situated within the Launcher Operating Unit of the Marine Systems division. In this position, you will lead a cross-functional organization to deliver contractual requirements on cost and schedule while ensuring all technical goals are met for the customer. Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as a liaison between program management and technical leads, managing project budgets and schedules, preparing status reports, and developing risk and opportunity management plans. You will also manage meeting action items, oversee government-supplied property, and implement process improvements. The role requires proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, and MS Project for schedule tracking. Preferred technical skills include experience with SAP, ERP1/ERP2, and cyber security knowledge while supporting Department of Defense contracts.
Deliver all contractual requirements on cost, schedule, and technical specifications.
Serve as the primary liaison between client program management and internal technical leads.
Monitor project budgets and schedules while preparing regular status reports for leadership.
Identify project issues and develop resolutions to meet quality and stakeholder satisfaction goals.
Manage risk and opportunity identification, tracking, and mitigation planning for the program.
Ensure all deliverables are compliant, affordable, and meet customer requirements.
Track and manage meeting action items and maintain documentation of internal processes.
Oversee the management of government or customer-supplied property and information.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with ' experience, a master's degree with relevant experience, or professional work experience.
Demonstrated use of MS Office Suite including Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, PowerPoint for briefings, and MS Project for scheduling.
Experience applying business and financial management principles such as cost account management, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Experience coordinating work across multiple internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting Risk and Opportunity Management activities including identification, tracking, and mitigation planning.
Experience using SAP, ERP1/ERP2, Cyber Security knowledge, or developing proposals (preferred).
