Principal Product Line Manager, Electronic Warfare & Distributed Effects joins the Product team to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of capabilities supporting Electronic Warfare and RF sensing applications. This role serves as the capability owner for EW and Sensing, translating mission needs into scalable product features across communication and sensing domains. You will drive products from prototype stages to operationally viable offerings while conducting market research, engaging with end users, and collaborating with engineering teams. Key responsibilities include managing roadmaps for radio-integrated sensing, software-defined analytics, and counter-UAS effects. The role requires expertise in RF systems, sensors, embedded systems, and tactical UAS within the defense sector. You will navigate complex domains like contested spectrum operations, RF detection, and geolocation to solve critical problems in signal processing and situational intelligence for military and public safety applications.
Own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Electronic Warfare (EW) and sensing capabilities.
Transition products from the prototype stage to scalable, sellable, and operationally viable market offerings.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure product-market fit within defense ecosystems.
Engage directly with end users and customers to identify pain points and translate them into actionable requirements.
Evangelize the product line to military end users, integrators, and prime contractors.
Manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept through deployment and ongoing sustainment.
Ensure capabilities are delivered as scalable platform features rather than one-off implementations.
Support and lead pilot programs, field tests, and various customer engagement activities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
8-12+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Mission Solutions Lead in defense technology, EW, SIGINT, ISR, or RF sensing.
Proven ability to engage with military operators, acquisition personnel, and defense industry stakeholders.
Strong understanding of defense acquisition cycles, user needs discovery, and product-market fit challenges.
Technical familiarity with RF systems, sensors, embedded systems, or tactical UAS.
Experience serving as a product evangelist or spokesperson for internal and external audiences.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
