What you'll do

  • Translate high-level mission capabilities into granular software user stories and hardware/sensor configurations.
  • Define end-to-end performance specifications and system-level trade-offs for integrated communication packages like PRISM, NEXUS, and AIRS.
  • Manage the Agile backlog, including sprint planning, grooming, and release cadences for firmware builds and system updates.
  • Conduct technical analysis of customer feature requests to balance engineering timelines against field expectations.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from initial concept and prototype validation to operational deployment.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to translate operator feedback into actionable feature priorities.
  • Support defense integrators in validating plug-and-play integrations for terrestrial, aerial, and maritime platforms.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to support field testing, customer integrations, and meetings.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or wireless communications.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, software-defined radios, mesh networking, or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
  • Ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into structured technical requirements.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
  • Experience with tactical systems integration, vehicle/airborne payloads, or Agile/Scrum practices (preferred); Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
