Senior Business Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Map US Army capability requirements and mission command goals to specific tactical radio capabilities.
• Conduct market research to identify product synergies and evaluate end-to-end architectures with the engineering team.
• Design and build high-impact demonstrations that showcase "art-of-the-possible" solutions for unique Army needs.
• Lead technical planning, network configuration, and live execution of field trials and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with program managers to integrate advanced technology capabilities into 3-to-5-year program requirements.
• Serve as the technical anchor for RFI/RFP responses by providing strategic direction and expert reviews.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with Army engineers, subject matter experts, and technical evaluators.
• Translate complex field feedback from soldiers into actionable product roadmaps for the engineering team.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with at least 5 years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based tactical routing protocols, and tactical communication systems.
• Strong knowledge of US Army tactical procurement pathways and network modernization priorities.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, events, and field demonstrations.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for the setup of tactical network demonstrations.
