The role requires expertise in physical IT infrastructure, including servers, SANs, networking, capacity, DC rack enclosures, and structured cabling. You will also document lessons learned to improve capacity planning accuracy. Success requires navigating complex infrastructure readiness and ensuring seamless delivery of GPU capacity across the Americas region through cross-functional collaboration and proactive risk management.

What you'll do

  • Participate in GPU planning forums regarding capacity expansion, retrofit initiatives, and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and execute GPU deployment project plans across metro data centers to meet operational timelines.
  • Drive GPU deployment activities in the Americas region while streamlining processes for timely delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between metro leadership and operations to escalate risks and represent deployment interests.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Networking teams to create execution schedules and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain risk management plans to ensure continuity during deployment and sustainment operations.
  • Document lessons learned and implement best practices to improve GPU capacity planning accuracy and scalability.

What we're looking for

  • High School Qualification or equivalent and 10+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or delivering large-scale server and network deployment projects.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks every two years.
  • Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in a related field and 15+ years experience in critical environment or physical IT infrastructures (preferred).
  • High School Qualification or equivalent and 17+ years experience in critical environment or physical IT infrastructures (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Network, CCNA, ITIL v3 Foundation, or Microsoft Operations Framework (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Operations leadership, preferably in data centers (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience working with physical IT infrastructure including servers, networking, and cabling (preferred).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical IT infrastructures such as SANs, capacity, and DC rack enclosures (preferred).
