What you'll do

Oversee day-to-day maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in the datacenter.
Manage work orders using CMMS to ensure technicians complete tasks according to established standards.
Act as an escalation point for facilities issues and provide technical guidance during emergencies.
Manage small-to-medium projects from initial conception through completion.
Report on critical infrastructure KPIs, operational metrics, and compliance with organizational policies.
Identify single points of failure and recommend improvements for equipment design and construction methods.
Drive initiatives to improve cost and energy efficiency across datacenter operations.
Coordinate and supervise audits and compliance verifications for critical environment systems.

What we're looking for

High School Qualification or equivalent is required.
At least 2 years of experience supporting IT equipment, related technology, or large-scale server and network deployment projects is required.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check and other government security screenings is required.
Preferred: A technical college degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field or mechanical/electrical trades.
Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, PMP, ITIL, CDCP, or ASICS/Inventory Control.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (UPS, Generator, AHU) or physical IT infrastructures.
Preferred: Experience with project management, building cooling systems, and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
