What you'll do

Define the architecture and technical strategy for core services and APIs powering the OCI application deployment platform.
Deliver resilient, scalable deployment workflows and platform primitives to enable safe software delivery across diverse environments.
Translate ambiguous multi-organization needs into clear technical strategies, design principles, and execution plans.
Establish safety and reliability as platform defaults through isolation, policy enforcement, observability, and failure handling.
Build the technical foundations for AI-assisted engineering workflows including governance and safety controls.
Identify high-leverage investments to improve developer experience, performance, and deployment success rates based on operational signals.
Raise engineering standards through architecture reviews, technical mentorship, and establishing design standards across teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of professional software development experience in distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, or Python.
Experience designing scalable APIs, data models, and service architectures with a focus on security and operability.
Knowledge of cloud-native systems including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Demonstrated technical leadership to define strategy, align stakeholders, and drive execution across teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence decisions and build alignment across organizations.
Experience with SRE, security engineering, or AI-assisted developer tools is preferred.
