Lead Principal Platform Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Define the technical vision and architecture for AI-native software development capabilities across the organization.
• Establish engineering practices for human-agent collaboration, including spec-driven development and workflow graphs.
• Write foundational code, prototypes, and reference implementations to establish patterns for other teams.
• Resolve technical dependencies and align stakeholders on architectural boundaries and project priorities.
• Build agent harnesses and execution platforms that support secure, observable, and repeatable engineering work.
• Establish evaluation mechanisms to assess the correctness, security, and maintainability of AI-driven tasks.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads on AI-native development and software engineering foundations.
• Partner with internal customers to pilot and scale reusable capabilities that improve developer productivity.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have extensive experience designing, delivering, and operating complex software systems or developer platforms.
• Must have demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams with influence on architecture and engineering practices.
• Must have a record of resolving ambiguous technical, project, and organizational challenges.
• Must have strong hands-on engineering skills for architectural direction, implementation, and production troubleshooting.
• Must have practical experience developing software with AI-native approaches like spec-driven development, coding agents, or workflow graphs.
• Must have experience designing agent harnesses, context strategies, and evaluations.
• Must have strong judgment regarding security, operational reliability, and agent autonomy.
• Must have the ability to communicate complex decisions and build cross-team alignment.
• Experience building AI capabilities or developer tools adopted across a large engineering organization (preferred).
• Experience with distributed agent execution, durable workflows, or coordinated changes across repositories (preferred).
• Experience with reusable skills, MCP integrations, code intelligence, and access-aware context delivery (preferred).
• Experience measuring developer and team productivity using evidence to guide platform improvements (preferred).
• Familiarity with OCI or comparable cloud infrastructure and enterprise software development environments (preferred).
