What you'll do

Lead the evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes to ensure cross-team interoperability and multi-tenant scalability.
Design and operate highly available, secure distributed services for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic systems.
Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize downstream impacts.
Establish shared observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple service workloads.
Perform performance profiling and optimization to build scalable solutions and resolve complex API integration issues.
Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching to junior engineers on software architecture and best practices.
Implement secure coding practices and manage system maintenance for critical security patches and updates.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience designing and operating highly available, secure, and scalable distributed services for PKI and cryptographic infrastructure.
Expertise in developing middleware patterns, runtime evolution, and multi-tenant scalability.
Proficiency in implementing complex API versioning, lifecycle management, and interoperability strategies.
Ability to drive observability standards, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple services.
Experience with secure coding practices to prevent security vulnerabilities.
Ability to provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
