Principal Mechanical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, enclosures, and packaging using advanced CAD tools like ProE or SolidWorks.
• Develop thermal cooling strategies and perform detailed thermal analysis using CFD tools such as FloTHERM or Icepak.
• Evaluate material reliability through stress analysis, strain analysis, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to identify potential failure points.
• Manage the transition of products from prototype to production by ensuring designs meet manufacturability, cost, and quality constraints.
• Conduct reliability assessments, environmental testing, and data analysis to resolve defects and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Research and integrate next-generation materials and mechanical design techniques to improve product performance and innovation.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Proficiency in advanced CAD tools such as ProE or SolidWorks is required for 3D modeling.
• Experience performing stress analysis, strain analysis, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is required.
• Ability to conduct thermal analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools like FloTHERM or Icepak.
• Experience in designing mechanical systems, enclosures, packaging, and thermal cooling strategies for server generations.
• Ability to manage the transition of designs from prototype to production while ensuring manufacturability.
• Capability to lead environmental testing and ensure products meet global regulatory and industry standards.
