What you'll do

  • Lead the architecture, design, analysis, and optimization of complex fluid and thermal systems including pumps, tubing, and heat exchangers.
  • Manage mechanical and fluid system deliverables from initial concept through final production while ensuring manufacturability and compliance.
  • Serve as a technical partner to customers to support the integration of fluid solutions into broader product architectures.
  • Drive simulation, analysis, and testing to validate fluid flow, pressure drop, thermal performance, and material compatibility.
  • Develop and approve engineering requirements, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Lead design reviews by presenting technical tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify technical gaps and lead exploratory R&D efforts to build foundational knowledge and intellectual property.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across all experience levels to improve team capability.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience designing and engineering fluid systems in data center thermal management, automotive, medical, or nuclear industries.
  • At least 3 years of direct experience with Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).
  • Deep expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer using first principles engineering.
  • Proven track record of new product development for thermal or fluid systems from concept through validation testing.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship of development teams within a structured product development environment.
  • Ability to lead design reviews and communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting, optimizing, and documenting complex fluid systems across production phases.
