Principal Learning & Development Specialist

What you'll do

• Design and develop learning solutions using Bloom’s taxonomy and instructional design theories to address critical workforce needs.
• Create impactful training materials including e-learning modules, workshops, seminars, and simulation-based learning experiences.
• Manage the full ADDIE lifecycle for L&D projects, including establishing goals, objectives, and timelines.
• Conduct subject matter expert interviews to identify high-priority skills and business outcomes.
• Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training programs for employees within the Mission Assurance organization.
• Develop evaluation tools such as surveys and tests to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
• Analyze performance data and feedback to measure the impact of training on organizational goals.
• Prepare presentations and brief stakeholders at multiple levels across the organization regarding L&D initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's, or 1 year with a PhD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Experience developing and deploying training programs in corporate, military, or defense settings is required.
• Demonstrated experience in instructional design models, learning theories, and creating training materials.
• Experience managing training management systems and performing LMS administration tasks.
• Proven ability to facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Executive level presentation experience and proficiency are required.
