The Principal - IAM Platform Operations serves as the senior technical and operational authority for the Identity and Access Management platform operations team. This role is responsible for driving platform stability, operational strategy, service maturity, and technical governance across Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Authorization, Non-Human Identity, and AI-Agent Identity services. The individual will define operational standards, lead platform modernization, drive automation and observability, and manage root cause analysis for significant incidents. Key responsibilities include establishing service health reporting and supporting regulatory audits in highly regulated environments. Required skills include deep expertise in Identity Lifecycle Management and cloud technologies. Preferred technical proficiencies include CyberArk, Saviynt, Entra ID, Okta, Ping, and ServiceNow, alongside knowledge of NIST, COBIT, and FFIEC security control frameworks.
Serve as the senior technical leader for IAM platform operations and service management.
Define operational standards, support models, monitoring strategies, and reliability practices across IAM services.
Lead platform modernization efforts and drive automation, observability, and resiliency across the IAM portfolio.
Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams on platform design, scalability, and production readiness.
Lead root cause analysis and remediation for significant operational incidents and systemic issues.
Establish operational metrics, service health reporting, and executive performance dashboards.
Support regulatory examinations, audits, risk assessments, and control validation activities.
Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership for Engineers, Leads, and Operations teams.
What we're looking for
Must have 10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Cyber Security, or Enterprise Technology.
Must possess deep expertise in Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Authorization, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Non-Human Identity.
Must have proven experience supporting and optimizing large-scale enterprise IAM platforms.
Must have a strong understanding of platform operations, service reliability, automation, cloud technologies, and operational resilience.
Must have experience supporting highly regulated environments and control-driven organizations.
Hands-on expertise with CyberArk, Saviynt, Entra ID, Okta, Ping, ServiceNow, and related IAM technologies (preferred).
Knowledge of NIST, COBIT, FFIEC, and industry-standard security control frameworks (preferred).
