What you'll do

Lead technical discovery and map complex customer infrastructure to Cloudflare products like DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust.
Design and deliver tailored architectural diagrams and demonstrations to address specific performance, security, and reliability challenges.
Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and expansion.
Create structured migration blueprints and provide technical guidance for configuration best practices during the implementation phase.
Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities and conducting Quarterly Business Reviews to demonstrate ROI to executives.
Utilize AI tools and LLMs to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and telemetry monitoring.
Develop and document internal and external technical resources, including Standard Operating Procedures and architectural best practices.

What we're looking for

Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Technical Account Management (preferred).
Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
Proficiency in at least four areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, or Developer Platform Fluency.
Business fluency in German.
Ability to travel up to 20–50% for customer meetings and team collaboration.
Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
Experience with technical enablement, advanced AI knowledge, or regulatory requirements like PCI DSS (preferred).
