Senior Customer Engineer, Majors

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and map complex customer infrastructure to Cloudflare products like DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust.
• Design and deliver tailored architectural diagrams and demonstrations to address specific security and performance challenges.
• Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment, and expansion.
• Create migration blueprints and provide technical guidance to customer engineering teams during implementation.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities and conducting technical QBRs for C-level executives.
• Utilize AI tools and LLMs to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and internal documentation.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures and technical guides to enable internal teams and customers.

What we're looking for

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management.
• Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
• Ability to translate deeply technical concepts into business outcomes for both engineers and C-level executives.
• Depth in at least four areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, or Developer Platform Fluency.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and model-access controls is preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2 is preferred.
• Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
