What you'll do

Architect and develop scalable distributed systems that support horizontal and vertical scaling using distributed state management tools.
Optimize code and data paths for high-throughput, hyper-scale workloads and large-scale data processing.
Design fault-tolerant systems featuring redundancy, replication, failover mechanisms, and load-shedding to meet service level objectives.
Establish KPIs and build custom dashboards and telemetry systems to proactively monitor system health and performance.
Create complex validation scenarios including fault injection and brownouts to ensure system correctness and durability.
Proactively diagnose, debug, and resolve production issues while mentoring peers in incident response and root cause analysis.
Implement robust security controls, encryption, and access management for multi-tenant environments.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools to manage cloud infrastructure and streamline change management processes.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related fields.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Experience architecting and developing scalable, elastic distributed systems for high-throughput workloads.
Expertise in designing fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, failover, and load-shedding techniques.
Proficiency in establishing KPIs, telemetry, and building proactive monitoring dashboards and alerts.
Ability to perform complex validation testing including fault injection and brownout scenarios.
Experience implementing robust security controls, encryption, and compliance documentation for multi-tenant environments.
Skill in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation scripts for cloud infrastructure management.
