Principal Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud and Agentic AI Solutions joins the Cloud and AI Apps team to help customers move AI applications and agents from experimentation to production on Azure. In this role, you will lead technical engagements across architecture design, proof of concepts, pilots, and production milestones while ensuring customer health, resiliency, security, and optimization for mission-critical workloads. You will work with tools including Azure AI Foundry, Agent Factory, GitHub, Copilot Studio, Agent365, Microsoft IQs, containers, serverless, and integration services. The role involves designing secure, scalable solutions to accelerate adoption of AI technologies and providing technical workshops and guidance on app modernization and production readiness. You will also contribute to reusable intellectual property and provide feedback to engineering teams regarding platform readiness and deployment blockers for large-scale AI and agent use cases.

What you'll do

Design secure, scalable AI and data solutions for customers to move applications from experimentation to production.
Lead technical engagements across architecture design, proof of concepts, pilots, and production milestones.
Manage end-to-end technical delivery results including consumption tracking and customer success plans.
Generate incremental cloud pipeline and identify next best actions during customer engagements.
Develop and deliver repeatable intellectual property and assets to accelerate deployment for customers.
Oversee the health, resiliency, security, and cost optimization of mission-critical workloads.
Act as the Voice of the Customer by reporting product gaps and blockers to engineering teams.
Conduct technical workshops and provide guidance on AI apps, GitHub, and production readiness.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in Cloud & AI platform technologies including Azure architecture, AI agents, GitHub, and application modernization.
Experience in IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or technical solution architecture.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
7+ years of experience in specific areas like data platforms, AI applications/agents, or developer tooling (preferred).
7+ years of experience designing and delivering secure, scalable data and AI solutions from proof of concept through production (preferred).
5+ years of experience owning end-to-end technical delivery results including resolving complex blockers and optimization issues (preferred).
Technical Cloud Certification in Azure Developer, AI Engineer, GitHub Copilot, Fabric, or Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
