Principal Architect, Solutions and Automation

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex initiatives while ensuring adherence to corporate standards and technology reuse.
• Conduct "Buy vs Build" analyses to provide data-driven recommendations on procurement versus custom development.
• Develop reference architectures and provide technical guidance to engineering teams for cloud-native application optimization.
• Create forward-looking technology roadmaps that incorporate emerging trends like AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
• Design and implement automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Lead feasibility studies and develop proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate the business value of new technologies.
• Establish centers of excellence for emerging technologies and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers on best practices for adopting new technologies and modernizing legacy systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of overall design and development experience.
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in software architecture, including Domain Driven Architecture, Microservices, and technical debt reduction.
• Proficiency in security, automation, observability, and enterprise SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with integration layers for legacy infrastructure using streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar.
• Proven experience building intelligent automation frameworks and implementing RPA solutions via UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
• Strong skills in presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and mentoring technical teams.
