Principal Architect

What you'll do

• Own the enterprise cloud-native reference architecture across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms.
• Establish standards for cloud security, identity management, and modern federated identity patterns.
• Define landing zone requirements including networking topology, account structures, and connectivity.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code standards using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm.
• Create technical guidance for compute runtime selection and Kubernetes cluster architecture.
• Drive FinOps maturity by integrating cost data into cloud tooling and establishing unit economics.
• Design architecture standards for AI-powered systems including RAG pipelines and automated operations.
• Author architecture decision records and conduct reviews to mentor engineers across the organization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud architecture, or platform engineering.
• 8+ years of architecture work specifically in cloud infrastructure at a large enterprise.
• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes in production environments such as EKS, AKS, GKE, or OpenShift.
• Solid experience with at least two major public clouds (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including networking, identity, compute, and storage.
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, or ArgoCD.
• Proven track record of writing architecture standards that are adopted by other engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and senior leadership.
