Principal Architect, Identity Access Management

What you'll do

• Establish scalable and secure identity controls for applications, services, workloads, APIs, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop reference architectures and standards for machine identities, secrets management, privileged access, and zero trust principles.
• Advise senior leadership on architectural frameworks and transition strategies for complex business and technical needs.
• Drive investment planning to select strategic tools and rationalize spend based on total cost of ownership.
• Ensure all applications comply with enterprise standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into system design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
• Manage the security risks and ethical considerations associated with implementing generative AI and machine learning models.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of architecture experience or equivalent through work, training, military service, or education.
• 7+ years of experience implementing enterprise-scale Identity Access Management solutions.
• Deep expertise in Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, authentication, authorization, and security architecture (preferred).
• Experience designing distributed, cloud-native platforms using microservices, APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise IAM and PAM solutions such as Saviynt, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Oracle Identity Manager (preferred).
• Proficiency in Java/Spring ecosystem and modern application architecture patterns (preferred).
• Experience working in regulated environments with audit requirements and security compliance programs (preferred).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, machine identity, AI security, and relevant industry certifications (preferred).
