As a Cloud Security Architect within the Security Architecture organization, you will define, implement, and govern cloud security architectures, standards, and controls across public, private, and SaaS environments. You will partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions for digital transformation initiatives. Your daily responsibilities include designing reference models for multi-cloud environments, conducting architecture reviews for containerized applications and Kubernetes platforms, and managing identity and access management, network security, data protection, and encryption. You will drive Zero Trust and secure-by-design principles while evaluating emerging technologies to mitigate risks in highly regulated environments. The role requires expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services, along with proficiency in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code. You must possess strong skills in risk-based decision-making and stakeholder management to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Design and maintain cloud security architectures, standards, and reference models across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Integrate security controls into cloud platforms and services in partnership with engineering and infrastructure teams.
Lead security architecture reviews for cloud-native applications, containers, Kubernetes platforms, and SaaS solutions.
Define and govern capabilities including identity management, network security, data protection, and security automation.
Identify cloud security risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
Drive the adoption of Zero Trust, secure-by-design, and cloud-native security principles.
Evaluate emerging cloud security technologies to support future-state architecture strategies.
What we're looking for
Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of experience leading large-scale cybersecurity architecture, engineering, security operations, or technology transformation functions.
At least 8 years of cybersecurity experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Expertise in cloud-native technologies including containers, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Proficiency in identity and access management, network security, data protection, encryption, and infrastructure security.
Desirable professional certifications include CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or SABSA.
Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
