What you'll do

  • Lead and develop a team of principal architects to create coherent platform standards.
  • Define and maintain authoritative platform architecture standards across multiple domains.
  • Drive cloud adoption strategy, ensuring consistent and compliant architecture patterns.
  • Ensure operational resilience by establishing observability and disaster recovery standards.
  • Partner with Engineering, Security, and Operations to align platform architecture decisions.

What we're looking for

  • Over 12 years of experience in infrastructure or platform architecture with at least 3 years in leadership.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge across cloud, on-premises data center, networking, compute, storage, and container platforms.
  • Deep expertise in AWS architecture including VPCs, EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, KMS, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and security services.
  • Strong experience leading GitOps and infrastructure-as-code programs using tools like Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux.
  • Proven ability to define and govern enterprise-wide platform architecture standards and reference architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts into actionable standards for engineering teams.
