As a Principal Software Architect within the newly formed Technical Software Architecture group, you will work across IT platform teams to advocate for back-office software technology patterns and standards. You will architect and evolve scalable, secure, and performant solutions while driving design best practices across applications, integration, and event-driven systems. Your daily responsibilities include overseeing robust systems featuring APIs, asynchronous messaging, and observability components like logging, metrics, and tracing. You will mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and translate complex business needs into maintainable technical designs. The role requires deep expertise in software design patterns, microservices decomposition, and event-based systems including pub/sub models. You must possess strong communication skills to influence decisions across platform and enterprise teams while ensuring production readiness through rigorous governance and the adoption of emerging technologies for various back-office business challenges.

What we're looking for
Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.
