The Presales Systems Engineering - Summer 2027 Internship role places students within the Presales Engineering Group to support the technical lifeblood of the sales organization. Candidates may also possess CCNA, CompTIA, or Amateur Radio/HAM certifications to solve public safety communication challenges.

What you'll do

Develop technical strategies and generate formal proposals to present Motorola's solutions to customers.
Coordinate the design and planning of customer solutions using advanced technologies.
Perform coverage and antenna site selection, frequency planning, and interference analysis.
Design system architectures and select appropriate equipment for specific customer needs.
Provide technical support throughout the pre-sales phase of the project.
Manage technical aspects from project award until system acceptance, including implementation planning.
Conduct system acceptance testing, coverage testing, and system staging.
Update sales professionals and customers on the latest technology offerings and their relevance.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma required.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an expected graduation date on or after December 2027.
Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2027.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences.
Experience working with customers is desirable.
Experience or knowledge in radio systems, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave, or networking is desirable.
Experience or knowledge of communications networks (MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP) is desirable.
Certifications through CCNA, CompTIA, and/or Amateur Radio/HAM is desirable (preferred).
Preferred candidates will live in Massachusetts (preferred).
