Presales Solutions Architect

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to translate business requirements into clear architecture decisions and next steps.
• Design and defend Dell-based solutions across compute, AI, storage, private cloud, and networking domains.
• Create architectures using Dell platforms including PowerEdge, PowerStore, PowerScale, and Cyber Recovery.
• Lead customer whiteboards, technical workshops, proofs of concept, and architecture reviews for transformational pursuits.
• Integrate Dell infrastructure with customer environments including VMware Cloud Foundation, Nutanix, and public cloud services.
• Develop technical deliverables such as discovery guides, reference architectures, sizing checklists, and migration considerations.
• Produce reusable technical intellectual property from customer engagements to be shared across the team repository.
• Enable sales and technical teams through field coaching, solution playbooks, and customer-ready content.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience required.
• Advanced experience leading complex data center architecture and pre-sales technical engagements.
• Advanced knowledge in at least one Dell Technologies domain with working knowledge across multiple adjacent areas.
• Expertise in architecting, sizing, integrating, and positioning Dell Technologies infrastructure within complex, multi-vendor customer environments.
• Ability to lead technical discovery and translate business requirements into architecture, configuration guidance, and validation plans.
• Strong experience with PowerEdge and accelerator-based infrastructure supporting virtualization, private cloud, and AI workloads.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage concepts and Dell platforms such as PowerStore and PowerScale.
• Strong understanding of private cloud, HCI, data protection, and data center networking technologies.
• Five or more years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, or technical pre-sales preferred.
• Current Dell Technologies training or certification in one or more relevant domains preferred.
