What you'll do

Define the architecture for digital beamforming, signal processing, and data transport across satellite payloads.
Translate system performance targets into specific requirements for beam quality, sidelobe control, and multi-beam efficiency.
Partner with silicon teams to define chip architecture, interface definitions, and performance targets.
Collaborate with software teams to develop beamforming algorithms, scheduling, and null steering.
Design DPD and CFR architectures to maintain signal quality across various power levels and conditions.
Architect fronthaul systems and high-speed SerDes backends for payload data distribution.
Develop redundancy and graceful degradation strategies to ensure system reliability in orbit.
Implement radiation mitigation strategies for digital processing platforms to ensure long-term operational life.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status.
Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in digital design for communication systems.
7+ years of experience in phased array DSP architecture, digital beamforming, or high-speed digital design.
Experience in phased array digital beamforming architecture and system-level design for multi-element or multi-beam antenna systems.
Experience developing link/system simulators and DSP models using MATLAB, Python, or C++.
Experience with RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers.
