Senior Phased Array Antenna Verification Architect

What you'll do

• Derive verification requirements from phased array architectures to define test methods and pass/fail criteria.
• Trace verification strategies from high-level payload requirements down to component-level test plans.
• Define methodologies for standard RF and communication tests including ACLR, EVM, and spurious emissions.
• Architect conductive and over-the-air test systems for element characterization and beam pattern verification.
• Plan aerospace qualification campaigns including thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, and radiation testing.
• Support production test infrastructure by defining pass/fail criteria and optimizing test time.
• Perform hands-on lab work to resolve anomalies and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging test technologies to evolve verification strategies for future satellite generations.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in communication systems verification.
• 5+ years of experience with RF and Network test equipment for SATCOM communications.
• 3+ years of experience with RF and Network test equipment specifically associated with SATCOM communications.
• Experience with standard RF measurements including ACLR, EVM, blocker, spurious emissions, or intermodulation testing.
• Experience in Phased Array system test methodology and over-the-air performance verification.
• Experience in test setup automation using MATLAB, Python, or Pearl.
• Experience with RF lab equipment including VNA, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal generators.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications, or related industry (preferred).
• 10+ years of product validation experience including shock, drop, cycle, and environmental testing (preferred).
• Experience with 3GPP conformance testing, NTN verification, or production test infrastructure (preferred).
