Senior Phased Array RF Front End Architect

What you'll do

• Own the phased array RF front-end architecture for both Direct-to-Device and Broadband satellite payloads.
• Manage the analog RF signal chain from antenna elements to digital interfaces across multiple frequency bands.
• Ensure consistent performance metrics like noise figure, linearity, and efficiency across all beam steering angles.
• Define T/R module architectures by balancing performance, integration, and semiconductor process trade-offs.
• Co-optimize front-end performance with digital beamforming techniques including DPD and CFR.
• Drive semiconductor process selection based on RF performance, cost, and radiation tolerance requirements.
• Develop and flow down system-level requirements to component levels for verification and testing.
• Perform hands-on lab testing, production support, and on-orbit troubleshooting for active satellites.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in RF front-end or phased array architecture for wireless, satellite, or defense applications.
• Experience in phased array RF front-end or T/R module architecture including performance across beam steering angles.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Experience in practical semiconductor design work including full-chip and subsystem integration.
• Experience in wireless system design, architecture, system integration, and RF system analysis.
