PC Network Support Technician II

What you'll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of support tickets including creation, documentation, and timely resolution within established guidelines.
• Resolve technical issues regarding hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems via telephone or in person.
• Use Active Directory to manage user accounts, perform password resets, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Perform physical relocation of workstations and equipment while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all hardware assets within the tracking system.
• Conduct basic diagnostics to identify, isolate, and analyze technical problems using historical records.
• Complete administrative tasks and documentation required to meet strict security regulations for classified data.
• Participate in new installations, testing, and special projects as needed by the IT team.

What we're looking for

• High School diploma with 2 years of IT experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with no experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods.
• Must possess a U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph within 6 months of start date.
• Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for IAT Level I (e.g., Security+ CE) or be able to obtain it within 6 months.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Associate’s degree, Security+ CE, and 1 year of experience with IT hardware in a classified environment (preferred).
• Active and current Polygraph (preferred); proficiency in remote administration; familiarity with Active Directory, VMWare VDI, and ticketing systems (preferred).
