Operating Engineer, Data Center

What you'll do

• Manage daily operations of mechanical equipment including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Execute tenant service requests accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory control for parts and supplies.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the facility.
• Monitor and maintain water cooling, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Oversee contracted maintenance work and manage vendor performance to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Update and maintain accurate records within the CMMS work order system.
• Provide after-hours support and participate in emergency response procedures as required.

What we're looking for

• Must have technical experience in all aspects of building engineering including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BMS systems.
• Experience with Critical Environments including power generators, UPS, battery systems, and GPS/ATS equipment is preferred.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work independently and interact with clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Ability to use CMMS work order systems is required.
• Universal CFC recovery certification is desirable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
