The Missionforce - Associate Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), Public Sector joins the Public Sector team to serve as a technical advisor and strategic partner for defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions. What we're looking for
3-7 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or systems integration.
Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or Apex.
Proven track record of hands-on, end-to-end delivery of high-quality, scalable production solutions in a professional environment.
Hands-on experience building solutions with AI/LLM technologies, including integrating LLMs, applying AI orchestration frameworks, and prompt engineering.
Experience with data integration, API design, ETL, and AI/ML model deployment.
Familiarity with analytics, data warehouses, and operational dashboards such as Tableau, CRM Analytics, or Snowflake.
Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and can meet government screening standards.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian agencies (preferred).
Background in defense/aerospace industries or operational military/logistics experience (preferred).
Familiarity with IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253 requirements or deployment to classified environments (preferred).
Direct experience with the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and development (preferred).
Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Agentforce platform (preferred).
Experience developing conversational AI solutions within regulated industries (preferred).
Salesforce platform certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, Architect, or Agentforce Specialist (preferred).
