Mechanical Critical Facilities Engineer, Data Center

What you'll do

• Maintain critical operations by applying HVAC principles and mechanical engineering expertise.
• Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions for energy reduction.
• Manage optimal temperature and humidity levels to ensure data center reliability.
• Draft detailed specifications and compile comprehensive reports for deployment and maintenance phases.
• Implement advanced technologies like fluid dynamics management, economizers, and free cooling systems.
• Oversee remote monitoring systems to improve sustainable and efficient facility management.
• Drive operational enhancements to reduce costs and ensure scalable infrastructure performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/vocational achievements in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical engineering and operations within a data center or similar critical environment.
• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
• 7+ years of hands-on field experience in mechanical engineering specifically within data centers or similar environments (preferred).
• Experience in designing and implementing mechanical systems for sophisticated data centers (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and testing (preferred).
• Proficiency in CFD simulation tools, AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace 3D, and Weil-McLain Water Treatment Software (preferred).
