Critical Facilities Technician, Data Center Operations

What you'll do

• Inspect and supervise critical cooling, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond to irregular or malfunctioning conditions within high-availability data center environments.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on infrastructure systems.
• Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Interpret fire, electrical, and mechanical system drawings to perform technical tasks.
• Execute assigned tasks efficiently without disrupting business operations.
• Manage equipment and systems to ensure continuous delivery of compute, storage, and networking services.

What we're looking for

• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or fire life safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret fire, electrical, and mechanical system drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to work extended hours in high-heat environments while following OSHA rest cycles.
• 4+ years of related experience in a critical environment (preferred).
• Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems (preferred).
• Understanding of hyperscale systems and NFPA70e and OSHA regulations pertaining to data centers (preferred).
• Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills (preferred).
