Mechanical and Thermal Program Manager

What you'll do

• Lead mechanical and thermal program management activities throughout the entire product lifecycle from ideation to sustaining.
• Ensure mechanical, thermal, and electro-mechanical parts meet specific schedule, scope, and budget targets.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks or obstacles related to hardware development.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners like suppliers and manufacturers to develop and deliver components.
• Communicate product development status clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partner organizations.
• Drive mechanical/thermal design reviews while tracking issues and coordinating necessary deliverables.
• Improve product quality and development schedules by establishing high standards for execution and process efficiency.

What we're looking for

• BS degree or greater in an engineering field (mechanical focus preferred).
• 6+ years of working experience, preferably in a hardware program management role.
• Hands-on experience with hardware product development.
• Strong project and program management fundamentals.
• Experience influencing decisions and leading teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• 5+ years in a mechanical or thermal program management role (preferred).
• Master’s degree in engineering or business discipline a plus, not.
