Manager, Translational Informatics Platform Architecture

What you'll do

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of software, DevSecOps, cloud, and platform engineers.
• Oversee the design, provisioning, and lifecycle management of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Establish and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code standards, environment promotion workflows, and cloud platform governance.
• Direct the development of DevSecOps strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and software supply chain security.
• Enforce technical safeguards and security controls to ensure HIPAA and HITECH compliance for systems handling PHI.
• Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of APIs, microservices, and healthcare system integrations.
• Translate clinical research requirements into technical roadmaps and engineering solutions for research directors and stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering methodologies to improve platform sustainability and DevSecOps maturity.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams of software, DevSecOps, and cloud infrastructure engineers is required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, including AKS, Key Vault, and Monitor, is required.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and software supply chain security is required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH regulatory requirements and security controls for protected health information is required.
• Skills in financial oversight, organizational development, and operational management are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
