The Data Platform Architect defines how enterprise applications, data platforms, and business processes connect to enable trusted, scalable, and efficient data use across the organization. You will shape strategic directions for data integration, governance, and consumption patterns while translating business needs into Salesforce Data Cloud design decisions. Key responsibilities include leading CRM data migrations from legacy platforms, establishing standards for data quality and lineage, and providing the foundation for AI-enabled CRM use cases. You will utilize Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, TrueFoundry, BigQuery, and SQL to manage ETL/ELT designs and performance optimization. The role requires expertise in master data concepts, identity resolution, and governed analytics using Tableau or CRM Analytics. You will ensure compliance with HIPAA and GDPR while managing complex data ecosystems in a global healthcare context.
Translate business needs into Salesforce Data Cloud design decisions for Customer 360 and segmentation.
Define the enterprise approach for connecting Salesforce with data platforms like Snowflake.
Shape the analytics architecture to provide governed metrics and dashboards for CRM users.
Lead the CRM data migration approach from legacy platforms to ensure data readiness and reconciliation.
Establish operating standards for data quality, stewardship, lineage, and privacy in alignment with governance.
Provide the data foundation for AI-enabled CRM use cases like Einstein and Agentforce.
Lead data architecture workshops with business, IT, and product teams to validate requirements.
Communicate architecture recommendations, roadmap implications, and investment considerations to stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8–10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data management, or CRM data architecture roles within complex global environments.
Strong background in enterprise data architecture, CRM data structures, master data concepts, data quality management, and governance frameworks.
Practical Salesforce Data Cloud experience across data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, profile unification, segmentation, and activation use cases.
Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, TrueFoundry, or BigQuery and connecting them to CRM, analytics, or customer data ecosystems.
Proven ability to deliver governed analytics using Tableau, Tableau Next, CRM Analytics, or comparable BI platforms in enterprise environments.
